FOREIGN MISSIONS

The purpose of the Foreign Mission Ministry of Shiloh Baptist Church of Landover is to advance the pastoral vision to establish and provide continuous support for Christian missions in foreign countries, primarily on the African continent, in obedience to the great commission of Christ. The ministry shall engage in efforts to identify opportunities to establish mission sites to promote the gospel and teach those attracted to the mission.

The ultimate ministry goal is the establishment of one or all of the following: a church, a school, or a hospital wherein the ministry can carry out the mission. By providing Christian nurturing through education, the relief of the poor, and by promoting healthier human conditions, this ministry shall create opportunities to advance the gospel and win souls for Christ.
